…Which brings us straight to the point:

It’s THAT time of year.

You know – the time of year when every man, woman (& their dogs) are creating new years resolutions.

Resolutions that they don’t (or can’t) keep.

Why is that?

Resolutions are made at this time of year because of the perceived “time scoreboard” that you think you’ve got up your sleeve until this time NEXT year.

Right now (as we write this) you’ve got a “bank” of time stored in your head, with the “balance” being somewhere around 364 days left in the year.

Next new years eve seems like an ETERNITY away now – right?

Cast your mind back just a few days – we bet you were thinking something like… “Wow… Where did that year go??? It just FLEW past” (or something like that).

Most people don’t look back and say “Well… that there was one sloooow year we just had!”

Which brings us back to the point….

Resolutions.

Resolutions – just like any goal – should actually be written down. Writing them down is part of the process of manifesting the reality of that goal.

Now – since we are a business that helps people generate leads (by using our software & systems) we’re super interested to find out what YOUR new years resolutions and goals are.

A lot of networkers throw big numbers around saying things like – “I’m going to build a list of 100,000 people this year”… or “I’m going to make a million bucks this year”…

How? Exactly?

When the reality is that many people can’t even generate ONE lead per day because of technical difficulties, saying things that are (for the most part) unrealistic – doesn’t make sense to us.

Why focus on building a list of 100,000, when you could just do something infinitely more powerful and more achievable…

How about generating just ONE lead per day?

And even better still… How about being able to help that 1 person generate 1 lead per day – so that they can help 1 person generate 1 lead per day…

Are you not better off as an individual by helping just 365 people generate 1 lead per day? (Do the math) – You sure are!

Help others get what they want.

Then everything else takes care of itself.

This is a year in which we’re going to be giving back to the online community in a massive way… In a way that will potentially help thousands of people learn the “art” of lead generation, so that they can use that knowledge & tools to help others do the same…

It's time to open the last box...

Like right now.

It’s almost time to close down our current software deals. If you’re really wanting to secure yourself one of our systems at these crazily low prices, we can’t stress this enough – NOW is the time to get in contact with us.

News: After a couple of painful (broken shoulder) & exciting (new baby) timing setbacks…

We’re almost there.

What's it to be?

Thing is – we are perfectionists – and that’s a two-edged sword!

On one hand – you want to make your products as good as possible – but this has the unfortunate side effect of taking more time.

On the other hand – if you took less time, cut a few corners, sure – your product will be available faster, but the headaches that go with it (in terms of customer support) outweigh the benefits that you may have received by “being to market” quicker…

So what’s best?

The answer lies within your own principles.

We here at Automated Prospecting believe that it’s best to create things properly from the start. And granted – the development is longer – and more expensive, but set up the framework correctly & your future is a lot more streamlined…

Here’s an example:

You might see a few posts here about HTML5 & video… (we like video).

Thing is – to “future proof” your video content – you need to do a few encoding and embedding tricks with your videos…

But guess what?

This takes just that little bit longer to do!

In fact – I just uploaded over 100 videos to our amazon servers! 100! All because of “future proofing” and “Cross platform” viewing ability.

You see – we know that people (now) use ipads. We know that people (know more than ever) are using their mobile phones… And quite frankly – you’ve got to cater for that.

Therefore – our content is 100% viewable by 100% of browsers… (that we’ve tested anyway!!!)

Anyway – we just wanted to let you know that we are almost there (finally) and you’ll be getting a sneak preview soon…

If you didn’t already know, there’s a bit of a “war” going on these days with online video.

No – it’s not youtube vs vimeo vs viddler or anything like that…

So what is it? Well – it’s got to do with “HTML5″ – a new form of web code that is in development – and is becoming more popular with the advent and release of devices such as the iPad & iPhone.

What’s this got to do with you?

Well, we want EVERYONE to be able to see our videos. So – in this little video player – we provide three “versions” of the exact same video. These versions allow (almost) all browsers to “see” the video (and you too…

If your browser can’t see one version, or prefers another, that specific video file will play, and the Player will automatically look different. However, YOU (as the viewer) won’t even notice.

If you wouldn’t mind, we’d like you to do us a favor… If you can’t see the video below (it’s only a 12 second long clip), leave a comment, tell us what system you’re on (i.e. Mac, Windows XP, 2000, 7 etc), and what browser type you’re using (e.g. Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 8, Firefox etc)

Remember – only post a reply if you can’t see a video (and just see some code or something…)

After all – we can’t run the hundreds of combinations of browsers, and operating systems – and yes – we have tested it on sites that allow “testing” of how things will look…

Of course, the simplest solution to this would be to simply embed a youtube video – but – sometimes you just don’t want your videos to be on youtube or other video sharing sites.
